Tasting Notes
A vibrant youthful wine with aromatic notes of damson and ripe cherries. On the palate it is fresh and light with further cherry flavours and a lovely long finish.

About The Producer
Chateau de Lacarelle

Lacarelle Castle is one of the oldest wineries of Beaujolais. Today it has 138 hectares of vineyards.
In 1969, Louis Durieu de Lacarelle, current owner, took over the family estate. His passion for wine, combined with the experience he has gained in the management of other wineries enabled him to produce approachable quality wines.
Continuing the work of his ancestors, Louis Durieu de Lacarelle and his wife, with the help of their collaborators, harmonizing the modern techniques and respect for traditions to produce and raise wine with quality and pleasure.
The medals won almost every year in the national competition in Paris in March or that of Macon in May, show that their efforts are not in vain. This is confirmed by the loyalty of customers developed over the past two decades in both Europe and Asia and America.
